Add-ons: Messenger, Instagram and Marketing

See which add-ons your workspace has and what the others do, on the admin-only Add-ons tab. Mesy switches an add-on on for you; there’s no button, price or self-serve flow on the page.

Active add-ons lists modules included in your plan. Each card carries an Active badge and, where the module has a home, a link to open it. With nothing active the section reads No add-ons yet.

Available add-ons lists modules you don’t have, with the note Not included in this workspace’s plan yet. Contact us to enable them. The Marketing card covers campaigns, consent-tracked sends and the deals they source. The Facebook card covers Messenger conversations answered from your Inbox. The Instagram card covers Instagram DMs answered from your Inbox. Facebook and Instagram both carry a Coming soon chip, which means Mesy can’t switch them on yet; they are one add-on shown as two cards.

With Marketing active, the card links to your campaign type’s list page. If no object type carries the campaign role, the card says Give an object type the campaign role to open it. Set the role on the Schema tab.

Two things then appear on records. A campaign-role record gets a Marketing tab. A person-role record gets a Marketing consent control in its header. Without the add-on, neither appears anywhere.

Consent is per channel, and today the only channel is email. Click Marketing consent on a person record and pick Opted in, Opted out or No consent recorded. Opted out is always excluded from a campaign. No record means unknown, which a campaign can still reach, with a warning. Consent set from an unsubscribe link or a STOP reply shows where it came from and when.

Open a campaign record and its Marketing tab. This campaign shows how many people are Targeted, Sent, Replied and Opted out, then Queued, Failed, Skipped and Today’s budget left. A workspace can send 200 campaign emails a day; Today’s budget left shows how many remain. Members lists everyone the campaign has targeted and their current state.

To send, use Compose:

  1. Type a Subject and the message each recipient gets.
  2. Under Audience, pick a person type.
  3. Optionally narrow it under Tag (optional); the default is Everyone.
  4. Read the line under the audience that counts the recipients in this segment.
  5. Click Review & launch.
  6. A card appears under Waiting for your approval; nothing has been sent.

A segment over 1,000 records is refused whole; the line reads Segment too large with the count. Narrow it with a tag and launch again.

The card names the recipient count before anything sends. It appears on the campaign and on the Approvals page. Open it to see the Channel and the Recipients count. It also says how many recipients have no consent recorded, how many an earlier launch already handled, and how many were skipped and why. Click View message to read the subject and body. Each copy gets an unsubscribe footer naming the sender when it’s sent.

Click Approve & send to queue the sends, or Discard. The count is a preview: consent or the daily budget can move between review and approval, and the card reports what happened. When the daily cap held some sends, the Marketing tab shows Resume held sends. Clicking it stages another card, which you approve with Approve & release.

Anyone who clicks the unsubscribe link lands on a page that confirms You’re unsubscribed. and their consent becomes opted out.
