Connect and disconnect your integrations

Your personal connections to mail, chat and calendar providers live on the Integrations tab of Settings. Settings opens when you click your name in the sidebar. Each connection belongs to you alone; a colleague connects their own.

The tab shows one card per provider. Before you connect, each card explains what the connection does:

  • Gmail: “Connect your Gmail to sync emails, auto-link to CRM records, and let the AI agent search and draft emails.”
  • Outlook: “Connect your Outlook to sync emails, auto-link to CRM records, and let the AI agent search and draft emails.”
  • Microsoft Teams: “Connect your Microsoft Teams to view and reply to chats directly from Mesy.”
  • Google Calendar: “Connect your Google Calendar to view events, create new ones, and stay on top of your schedule.”
  • Outlook Calendar: “Connect your Outlook Calendar to view events, create new ones, and stay on top of your schedule.”

The Microsoft Teams card adds a note that your IT admin may need to grant admin consent for Mesy in Microsoft Entra ID first. Click Copy admin consent link to copy the link you send them.

A Telegram card sits with the calendars. Its Your Link section generates a code you send to the Mesy bot; the Telegram pages of this guide walk through that. Bot configuration for admins is in Admin, under Workspace Channels.

To connect, for example, Gmail:

  1. Click Connect Gmail. The button reads Redirecting… while Mesy sends you to Google.
  2. Sign in at the provider and allow the access it asks for.
  3. Return to Settings, where the card now shows the connected address.

The other buttons are Connect Outlook, Connect Teams, Connect Google Calendar and Connect Outlook Calendar. The Teams card shows your Microsoft display name rather than an address.

A connected card shows the status in brackets after the address and, once a sync has run, a Last synced time. Under those sit two buttons: Sync Now and Disconnect. Click Sync Now to fetch new items straight away; a message reports how many emails, chats or events were synced. A second sync within 30 seconds of the last one reports 0 items; wait a moment and try again.

When a provider stops accepting Mesy’s access, the status changes to error and the card shows the provider’s message. Sync Now is disabled and Reconnect replaces Disconnect. Click Reconnect and sign in again. For Gmail, reconnecting keeps the emails already synced and catches up from where the last sync stopped.

To disconnect, for example, Gmail:

  1. Click Disconnect.
  2. Read the confirmation, “Disconnect Gmail? Synced emails will be removed.”
  3. Click Disconnect.
  4. Read the Gmail disconnected message. The card returns to its connect state.

The other confirmations read the same way: synced emails for Outlook, synced chats for Teams, synced events for the two calendars.

Disconnecting removes from Mesy:

  • the connection itself and the stored access to your account
  • every email synced from that mailbox, with its attachments and its links to records (Gmail and Outlook)
  • every synced chat, message and inline image (Teams)
  • every synced event and its links to records (Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar)

Timeline entries that Mesy wrote on a record when an email was linked stay on the record. An attachment you saved to Files stays in Files. Records, tasks and notes are untouched.

For Gmail and Google Calendar, Mesy also tells Google to revoke the access you granted. For Outlook, Microsoft Teams and Outlook Calendar, Mesy deletes its stored access but doesn’t revoke the grant at Microsoft. That grant expires on its own.
