Your profile, appearance and notification settings

Your personal settings live on the Settings page, which opens when you click your name in the sidebar. It has four tabs: Profile, Appearance, Notifications and Integrations. This page covers the first three; integrations have their own page.

Update your name, email and password

The Profile tab opens on the Profile card, which shows your Name and Email fields, your role and the date you joined. To change either field:

1. Edit Name or Email.
2. Click Save Changes.
3. Read the Profile updated message that appears.

The Password card takes your Current password, a New password and Confirm new password, then saves when you click Change Password. A strength meter under the new password reads Weak, Fair, Good or Strong. A password needs at least 8 characters, a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number and a symbol. It can’t be longer than 72 characters. If you sign in only with Google or Microsoft, this card is hidden and you set a password from the Sign-in methods card instead.

The Email Signature card holds the text Mesy appends to new emails. Tick Append signature to new emails to turn it on, then click Save Signature.

Pick a theme, home screen and text size

The Appearance tab has four cards. Each choice applies as soon as you click it.

• Theme offers two looks: Modern (clean white, bright blue accent) and Comfortable (warm paper).
• Command palette sets where the palette opens: Sidebar or Center.
• Home screen sets what you see when you open Mesy. Dashboard lands on the widget grid; Chat lands on the chat with the grid a scroll below.
• Text size resizes text across the app without changing spacing: Small, Default, Large or Extra Large.

Choose which notifications you receive

The Notifications tab shows one row per notification type with an In-app tick box. Every type starts switched on. If your workspace has a pipeline type, the first two rows use its name, for example Deal stage changed and New deal created. The new-deal row reaches admins and managers only. Without a pipeline type those two rows are hidden and a note says why. The remaining rows are Note on your record, Task overdue, Task assigned, Record assigned and Workflow proposals.

Once you’ve linked Telegram, a Telegram column appears. The tick box in the column header is the master switch, the same setting as the bot’s /mute command. While it’s off, every Telegram tick box is greyed out. A row’s Telegram tick box also needs its in-app tick box on, because Telegram only forwards notifications that exist in-app.

With Telegram linked, a second group, AI & system alerts, lists AI proposals, Auto-linking paused and AI limit reached. These read Always on for in-app and can only be quietened on Telegram. Mesy also always delivers a security notice when support resets your two-factor authentication, and an alert when one of your workflows pauses itself.

Read your notifications

The bell in the sidebar carries a red count of unread notifications, capped at 9+. Click it to open a panel with three tabs:

• Notifications lists your notifications grouped by date, with filters for All, Deals, Tasks and Activity and a switch between all and unread. Click Mark all read to clear the count. Clicking a notification marks it read and opens the record, the Tasks page, the workflow or the Approvals card it refers to.
• AI Suggestions lists changes the AI has staged for your review, with a count of pending items.
• What’s New lists every published product update, newest first.

When a new update is published, a dot appears on the bell and next to What’s New; opening the tab clears it. An update flagged for a popup opens the next time you load Mesy. Click Got it to dismiss it, which also clears the dot.
