Talk to Mesy on Telegram

Once your Telegram account is linked, the workspace bot is the same Mesy assistant you use on the web. Type a message in the bot chat and it answers with your CRM data. It also takes a voice note, a photo of a business card or a PDF.

Send any message that doesn’t start with a slash and the assistant treats it as a question or an instruction. It reads your workspace schema and pipeline, searches your records, and replies in the chat. Bold, italics, bullet lists and code from its answer render as Telegram formatting; a long answer arrives as several messages.

The assistant works in Singapore time. When you say “today” or “next Tuesday”, it resolves the date in that time zone, whatever your phone is set to.

The bot takes up to 30 text messages a minute. Beyond that it asks you to try again shortly.

When the assistant proposes a change to your records, it stages the change and sends a review card instead of applying it. See Approve or dismiss AI actions from Telegram.

The bot transcribes a voice note before the assistant reads it. It replies with the text under the heading Transcription: and then answers as if you had typed it. A voice note has to be 5 minutes or shorter and under 24MB. The bot refuses a longer or larger one and asks for a shorter message. The limit is 20 voice notes a minute.

Send a photo and the bot reads it as a business card. It replies with Business Card Extracted and the fields it found, then stages a contact for your review. The photo must be under 20MB. If the bot can’t read the card, it asks for a clearer photo.

Send a PDF or an image as a file and the bot saves it to Files for review. It replies with Saved to Files and a short summary. The bot accepts PDF and image files up to 20MB, and refuses any other type. It processes up to 10 photos and 10 files a minute.

Type / in the chat, or tap the menu button beside the message box, to see the commands. /help lists them with a line each. The quick reads are:

  • /pipeline shows a summary of your pipeline stages.
  • /tasks lists your open tasks.
  • /digest sends today’s briefing straight away.

/pipeline and /digest respect the same record visibility you have on the web. An admin can switch that off with Telegram digest respects visibility in Admin under Organization, in which case both show workspace-wide totals.

Send /clear to empty the current conversation and start a fresh one. After 6 hours of quiet the bot does this on its own. It says Starting fresh with how long ago the last conversation was, then answers your new message with no old context. Send /continue to reopen the previous conversation. If there is nothing behind the current one, the bot tells you so.

Your Telegram conversations show in the web app, read-only. To open one:

  1. Click Mesy AI at the top of the Dashboard page to open the conversation history.
  2. Select the Channels tab.
  3. Click a Telegram conversation. Each row shows its last message.
  4. Read the transcript. It is marked Read-only · synced from Telegram, with Open in Telegram at the bottom to carry on in the bot.

The view has no composer. Any change the assistant staged from Telegram appears as a review card at the bottom, so you can confirm or discard it on the web.

If your account isn’t linked yet, the Channels tab shows the link steps and a Generate Code button instead of a conversation list.
